Last weekend Carrefour displayed a selection of their garden furniture on the Plaza Colom, the new commercial square built by the Bendinat Group in Portocolom. The exhibition was a success with many visitors who bought numerous garden furniture sets. More such events are planned for the future.
The Bendinat sales office, also on the square, was open for the duration of the exhibition allowing visitors to visit the new luxury development.
3000 euros was raised at a charity wine tasting event organised by the Bendinat Group in aid of Cystic Fibrosis on 26th May. The event was held at the Cystic Fibrosis centre where children are treated and their lives are extended and helped in their fight against this terrible illness.
The centre has magnificent views over the bay of Palma and all proceeds go towards physiotherapy and treatments.
The wines were generously donated by Adam Perkal of Mundi Drinks who supply top wines from France, Italy and the New World to high level restaurants throughout Spain. There was also a tasting of olive oil from Algaida (Treurer) and a team of salsa dancers from Little Havana followed the tasting.
Robert Winsor, MBE, auctioned a day out on a luxury yacht for 1.000 euros – this was generously donated by Malcolm Andrews of Prime Estates in Puerto Portals.
